Please include a place in the demographics to name the patient's preferred name rather than their legal name.

Nashville CCC requested this, but I imagine all of our AMD customers would benefit from this

AI seems unable, even with magic edit cuing, to use an alternative first name for the patient other than what is in the chart. This greatly affects my notes for transgender patients and requires a lot of additional editing that the AI should be able to do on its own when requested.

Some individuals as well as those in the LGBTQ+ community might have preferred names that are not congruent with their legal names. A preferred name input on the client profile would greatly help us identify clients in list easier, along with a reduction in confusion that might lead to dead naming individuals. This would greatly help with affirming care.
